Pastor Zach Klassen

Let me personally say “thank you” for taking this time to be on our website. I know there are lots of options in the world and in our community when it comes to churches. My guess is that you are trying to figure out more about our church and myself before you visit, and I do not blame you! So, I am glad you are here.

I have Oklahoma roots that are deep. I was born in Oklahoma City and now pastor the church I spent most of my childhood growing up in. I say that to say – my passion for people living in Oklahoma mirrors my upbringing. My desire for our community is to grow and thrive spiritually.

At the age of 5, I trusted in Jesus Christ to save my soul from Hell and forgive me of my sins. (By the way, that is the best decision anyone can make!) Upon graduating Skiatook High School in 2008, I enrolled at Heartland Baptist Bible College in the fall of that same year. In 2012, I graduated with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Heartland Baptist Bible College as God burdened me to return to Grace Baptist Church. From 2012-2014, I served as ministry intern under the leadership of previous pastor Bill Field. On September 7th, 2014, Grace Baptist Church called me to be the next pastor effective September 28th, 2014. As the pastorate changed hands, the transition was seamless which is a testimony to the continued hand of God upon Grace Baptist Church.

It is in this church that I also married my lovely wife, Mallory, in 2012. In 2013, we welcomed our son, Casen, into the world. Since then, God has also given us three girls: Callyn, Campbelle, and Carrigan.

These are exciting times to live in, and I am confident the Lord is going to use this church as a catalyst for hope in the greater Tulsa area. I would like to personally invite you to come join us in any of our weekly services or watch via livestream.

Gratefully,

Pastor Zach Klassen

Trey Graf

Youth/Music Director

I was born in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and lived for several years right across the street from Dallas Cowboys stadium. Naturally, I've been a die-hard Cowboys fan ever since! I grew up in a pastor's home, where I had the privilege of seeing firsthand what it means to love God and serve God's people.

At the age of seven, suring a Sunday morning Jr. Church service, I recognized my need for a Savior and placed my faith and trust in Jesus Christ. When I was thirteen, God began to place a burden on my heart for full-time ministry, and it was then that I surrendered my life to serve Him.

After high school, I enrolled at Heartland Baptist Bible College in the fall of 2019. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and Youth Ministry. During my time at Heartland, the Lord began to burden my heart specifically for teenagers.

In the spring of 2023, I married my beautiful wife, Hannah. Shortly after, we moved to Green Country and began serving at Grace Baptist Church in June of 2023. I have the privilege of serving as the Youth and Music Director, and I absolutely love working with our teenagers and leading our church family in singing praises to our God. We are thrilled to be a part of what God is doing at Grace and count it a joy to serve alongside such a faithful and loving church family.

Chad Handy

Children's Director

I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and was blessed to be raised in church my entire life. However, it wasn’t until I was fifteen years old that I personally accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. At the age of nineteen, I felt the Lord’s call to ministry and surrendered to that calling.

In 2019, I began attending Heartland Baptist Bible College, where I met my wife, Hannah. We were married in 2020, and God has since blessed us with two wonderful children—our son Kannon, born in 2022, and our daughter McKinlee, born in 2025.

In the spring of 2023, the Lord led our family to Grace Baptist Church, where we’ve had the privilege of serving in the children’s ministry and the bus ministry. It has been a joy to work with the Children of Grace and to help them grow in their faith, even at a young age.

Outside of ministry, I’m an avid sports fan. I proudly cheer for the Texas Longhorns and the St. Louis Cardinals!
